Sri Rathlavath Laxman
Sri Rathlavath Laxman(I.R.S Retd) is the perfect symbol of rising from nothing to establish mighty ambitions and creating a noteworthy legacy. Belonging to an agricultural family, he transformed his life through higher education and completed his master’s degree from Osmania University. He gained valuable experience in banking, taxation and even worked in administration.
During his professional journey, serving as a commissioner for Tribal Welfare in Telangana, he visited tribal areas in the interiors of the State where he came across rural women and the problems they faced when it came to women hygiene and menstrual hygiene. This suffering triggered his passion to work for women’s health and thus began his passion project focusing on manufacturing sanitary napkins. He set up his first unit in Dundigal, Hyderabad.
The company launched 2 primary brands- Confidays and GoFive, each of which were aimed to bring affordable and easily accessible menstrual hygiene products to women in India, especially in rural areas.

But her vision was to work toward educating women about menstrual hygiene and bring awareness about the use of such products to make their lives better, safer and more convenient. So, she began Maheshwari Industries to cater to providing affordable sanitary products.

She taught them the manufacturing process and educated and trained them to work in the unit where they could be involved in procuring raw material, identifying quality resources and marketing the product.
